PROFILE
MY STORY
It all started when I was a small child growing up in the Philippines. The very first talent I exhibited was drawing. I would sketch up and even color my favorite cartoon characters. At some point, a classmate in elementary school even paid me Dragon Ball Z trading cards for a piece of drawing! That was probably my very first freelance work!
My mother introduced me to video games on the Famicom when I was young. I remember loving TMNT Turtles in Time whenever we'd go to one of those places where you pay to play for a few minutes to hours. I did not even know how to read yet and I recall calling Contra, "Rambo"! Good times.
One realization I've had about myself through the years, is that I've always found passion for endeavors involving art. I've drawn, written music, performed on streams, edited videos and written stories. Game development, as much of a technical undertaking it is, is also in so many ways an awe-inspiring art form in my eyes. And when I found it, I knew I finally found my calling. My purpose.
In 2018, I've decided to finally take game development seriously. This was a few years after I dabbled in indie game development. And now, as a Dawson College graduate under the Independent Video Game Design program and a former Playtika Montreal Technical Artist, I am better equipped (and still learning so much) to start my life's chapter devoted to more creativity, imagination and passion for video games!
I am currently part of the Ubisoft Montréal family working on Roller Champions® as a UI Technical Artist.
